Education Support
Our Education Support Advisors provide a wide range of assistance to students who need adaptations or support with their learning. Available support includes access to assistive technology, note-taking services, assessment arrangements, and other reasonable adjustments to help the development of learning skills and promote independent study.

Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
Students studying at HNC and HND levels may be eligible for DSA. This allowance is designed to address additional study needs for students with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, sensory or physical impairments, autism spectrum disorder, medical conditions, physical disabilities, or other documented needs.
DSA funding can help cover the cost of specialist equipment and assistive software, as well as learning assistant support for readers, scribes, and more. A basic allowance is also available for consumable items like printer paper and ink cartridges.
For more details on DSA, please visit the SAAS website.

We support with additional support needs, learning difficulties, wellbeing concerns, Care Experience, Student Carers, Estranged Students or to help in re-engaging with education after school.
